How do you cost effectively install wall plates with SVHS jack and long cable runs? The new AMX branded wall plates has an ingenious method of using 4 x RG/6 coax cables to produce Audio LEFT and Audio RIGHT next to SVHS signal. A small PC circuit behind the plate has 4 x ‘F’ jacks that convert to twin RCA jacks and single S-Video jack. The larger gauge coax cable will greatly reduce signal loss associated with small conductor SVHS cable on longer cable runs. Compare the cost of RG/6 versus S-Video cable!!!
